VŠE Ranked in QS World University Rankings for the First Time

Prague University of Economics and Business has been included in the prestigious QS World University Rankings 2027 for the first time. In this year’s ranking, which evaluated 8,808 universities from 106 countries worldwide, VŠE was placed in the 1001–1200 band.

Among the 16 Czech universities included in the ranking, Prague University of Economics and Business ranked 9th. Its inclusion was driven primarily by strong results in the Employer Reputation and Employment Outcomes indicators, which assess a university’s standing among employers and the success of its graduates in the labour market.

The university achieved its strongest performance in the International Students indicator, ranking 261st globally. It was also ranked 410th in Employer Reputation and 440th in Employment Outcomes. Within the Czech Republic, VŠE placed 3rd in Employment Outcomes, 4th in Employer Reputation and 5th in International Students.

Prague University of Economics and Business has also performed well in the QS by Subject rankings. In 2026, it was ranked in the 251–300 band worldwide for Accounting & Finance and Business & Management Studies, while Economics & Econometrics was placed in the 301–350 band.

The results of the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2027 will be published in March 2027.
